What file formats are supported when importing to RapidPlan?

RapidPlan supports several different import workflows, so the supported formats depend on what you are importing.

Images

For regular placed images, RapidPlan supports common formats such as:

• BMP,
• GIF,
• JPEG,
• PNG.

Use the Image tool from the Tools palette to place these on a plan.

Spatial data and CAD

For mapped or spatially referenced source data, use Tools > Import > Spatial Data.

That workflow supports:

• DWG,
• DXF,
• KML,
• KMZ,
• SHP.

Georeferenced imagery

RapidPlan can also work with georeferenced imagery in dedicated workflows. See:
