📄️ Use keyboard shortcuts
Use common keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste. Shortcuts can make repeated editing tasks faster.
📄️ Edit shared properties
When you select multiple objects, you can change the properties they share in the Properties palette.
📄️ Resize selected objects proportionally
Select multiple objects, then use the Transform menu to resize all selected objects proportionally.
📄️ Resize an object uniformly
Hold Shift while dragging a resize handle to preserve the selected object's proportions.
📄️ Use RapidPlan Online on a mobile phone
You can use RapidPlan Online and RapidPath Online on a mobile phone. The touch controls let you navigate and edit a plan without a mouse.
📄️ Rotate selected objects with the keyboard
Select one or more objects, then press R to rotate them clockwise or Shift+R to rotate them counterclockwise.
📄️ Rotate the basemap
In the Basemap section of the Layers palette, adjust Bearing to rotate the basemap.
📄️ Fit print regions to the page size
In the Print Regions section of the Layers palette, select Fit All To Page Size to fit every print region to the selected paper size.
📄️ Use the selection quick access menu
After selecting an object, use the quick access menu to add related elements such as arrows or annotations.
📄️ Organize Scratchpad content with pages
Create pages in the Scratchpad palette to organize reusable objects and other Scratchpad content.
📄️ Set the plan scale before drawing
Set the scale before you start drawing to help produce a consistent, professional plan output.
📄️ Customize palette order and visibility
Open Settings to change the order of workspace palettes and choose which palettes are visible.
📄️ Disable control point snapping
Open Settings and turn off control point snapping when you need to position control points without snapping.
📄️ Select an object from another layer
To switch layers quickly, right-click an object and select Select Object From Layer.
📄️ Select objects with matching properties
Use the matching-properties selection option to select objects that share the same properties.
📄️ Share a plan with collaborators
In Invarion Cloud, share a plan with collaborators when you want other RapidPlan Online users to work on it.
📄️ Add a comment at a plan location
Place a comment at a specific location on a shared plan to draw a collaborator's attention to an area of interest.

Use the Bezier tool when you need precise control over the curves in a line or object.
📄️ Reduce basemap opacity
Reduce the basemap's opacity in the Layers palette to make plan objects stand out more clearly.
📄️ Adjust layer opacity
Reduce a layer's opacity to compare or align its objects with objects on another layer.
📄️ Hide Bezier handles
While editing a Bezier object, hold Shift to hide its handles temporarily.
📄️ Save frequently used object styles
Save frequently used tool configurations as styles so you can apply the same appearance quickly.
📄️ Select the most recently added object
Double right-click with a mouse, or double-tap with two fingers on a touch device, to select the most recently added object.
📄️ Align an aerial photo with the basemap
Use Fit Object to align an imported aerial photo with the basemap.
📄️ Change the default object style
Use the Style menu to change the default appearance of newly created objects.
📄️ Draw a marked path with tails
In the Marked Path tool properties, select Tails to draw a path made of repeated arrows.
📄️ Choose mouse or trackpad interaction
Open Settings and select the interaction mode that matches your input device: Mouse or Trackpad.
📄️ Paste rich text
You can paste rich text or tables from applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets into the RapidPlan Online or RapidPath Online editor. Supported formatting includes bold, italic, and underlined text.
